Active Outdoor Pursuits Activities

Canoeing & Kayaking

All of our canoeing and kayaking sessions are led by a qualified British Canoe Union coach and we offer introductory sessions, half day trips, full day trips, loch and river trips.

White Water Rafting

We are very privileged to have Scotland’s best guaranteed white water rafting on our doorstep. The River Garry releases water from the dam once or twice per week from the end of March until the end of October offering guaranteed water levels in the driest months and fantastic grade 3 & 4 rapids!

White Water Canoeing

If you are looking for a good fun challenge with a family member or friend then our white water canoe trips are a great way to get up close and personal with the river with a need to communicate with your partner as you navigate the rapids in our two man inflatables.

River Rafting Safar Trips

A great family adventure for those with younger kids or a nice trip down the river for anyone looking for a more relaxed and fun river rafting experience. A gentle river trip from the head of the River Oich finishing by rafting right into Loch Ness at Fort Augustus!

Canyoning & Gorge Walking

Canyoning involves sliding down natural flumes, abseiling over waterfalls, and jumping from cliffs, this adrenaline filled adventure sport is guaranteed to get you excited! If you are looking for a bit less adrenaline but are still looking for adventure then our gorge walking trips involve scrambling and climbing up and down small waterfalls, sliding down chutes and there is the option of a few jumps.

Rock Climbing & Abseiling

Learn the basics of rock climbing in an outdoor environment and then walk off the cliff backwards! We will teach you how to tie knots, use climbing equipment and how to belay to keep each other safe. We have access to a great venue for first time climbers with an easy angled 30 ft cliff not far from our base.
